Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Aleefy you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.
If you accept these terms for a clinic, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that clinic, and the clinic is bound with you.Clinic app
Aleefy is not a veterinarian
This is the most important clause here. Aleefy is a record-keeping and booking tool. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and does not give veterinary advice. Nothing shown in the app is a substitute for examination by a qualified vet.
Reminders — a vaccination due, a follow-up scheduled — are conveniences, not clinical instructions. A missed or late reminder is not a reason to delay treatment. If your animal is unwell, call a vet.
Clinical content is written by the clinic that treated the animal. We do not review it, verify it, or take responsibility for it.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- The details you give us must be accurate, and you must keep them up to date.
- Your credentials are yours alone. Do not share them, and tell us at once if you think somebody else has them.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Using the pet owner appPet owner app
The Aleefy app is free for pet owners. You may add the animals you are responsible for, keep their records, book appointments, and use the QR tag.
- Add only animals you actually own or care for.
- The contact details on a pet's profile are shown to anyone who scans its tag. Do not put anything there you are unwilling to show a stranger.
- Do not book appointments you do not intend to keep. Repeated no-shows may see a clinic decline to accept your bookings.
Using the clinic appClinic app
The Aleefy Clinics app is for licensed veterinary clinics. When you register a clinic you confirm that it is legally permitted to practise where it operates, and we may ask you for proof.
- You are responsible for what your staff do with the accounts you create, and for the permissions you give them.
- Records you write must be accurate. Other people — including the animal's owner and any clinic you share with — will rely on them.
- You remain responsible for meeting the professional and record-keeping obligations of your own jurisdiction. Aleefy is a tool you use to meet them, not a substitute for them.
Plans and paymentClinic app
Clinics may use Aleefy on a free trial or a paid plan. The features and limits of each plan are shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Fees are charged in advance for the billing period you choose, and are debited from your clinic wallet.
- Money you add to a wallet is credit for Aleefy services. It is not a deposit account and does not earn interest.
- We may change plan pricing. Existing clinics are told before a change affects them, and a price change never applies to a period already paid for.
- Where a plan is set to renew automatically, you can turn that off in the app at any time before the renewal date.
- Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires it, or where we have made a billing error — in which case we will correct it.
If a subscription lapses, the clinic loses access to paid features. Its records are not deleted; they become available again when the subscription is restored.
What you must not do
- Access an account, a clinic or a medical record you have not been given access to.
- Probe, scan or interfere with the service, or try to get around a limit or a permission.
- Upload malware, or anything unlawful, abusive or infringing.
- Scrape or bulk-extract data, or use the service to build a competing dataset.
- Impersonate somebody else, or misrepresent a clinic or a professional qualification.
- Use the service abusively towards another user, a clinic, or its staff.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where a medical record is at stake we will act first and explain afterwards.
Your content
What you put into Aleefy stays yours — your photos, your notes, your records. You give us the permission we need to store it, display it back to you, and share it with the people you have chosen to share it with. That permission exists so the service can function, and for no other purpose.
The apps, this website, our name and our logo are ours. Using the service does not transfer any of that to you.
Availability
We work to keep Aleefy running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or remove features.
Do not treat Aleefy as your only copy of a record you cannot afford to lose. If a record is critical to you, keep your own copy of it as well.
Limits of our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Aleefy is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for veterinary decisions taken by you or by a clinic. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose — which, for a pet owner using the free app, is nothing.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Ending your use
You can stop using Aleefy and delete your account at any time. We may end your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export what is yours.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material we will tell you before it takes effect; continuing to use Aleefy after that means you accept the new terms.
